The Abbey Ballroom is housed in a beautifully renovated historic church in downtown Tacoma. Its high ceilings, gleaming fir floors, and tall windows create just the right atmosphere for your special day.

Upon entering into the Abbey there is a foyer for flowers, sign in book, and gifts. The upper level seats 150 guests, and there is a large room adjecent for the bride to be and her attendants to prepare for the day. After the ceremony your guests can move to the lower-level for the reception/dinner. Where 72" rounds seat 120 and a head table for the bride, groom, and wedding party. Our preferred caterier is Snuffins Catering www.snuffins.com, although you may choose your own. After dinner your guests can enjoy the ballroom for dancing and socializing. There is no food allowed on the dance floor. You may use the stage for a band or DJ or we have stereo equipment that you can use. For chair rental, we have found the best price and service at Benchmark Rental--they deliver, set up and tear down. They are just 3 blocks from the Abbey. The mid-level is a full facility kitchen: which includes two six burner wolf stoves with ovens, four sinks, refrigeration, and plenty of counter space for preperation.
