Lease
Agreement
Rental
fee must be in 30 days in advance of your function.
Cancellation
of Ballroom rental must be received IN PERSON 30 days in advance
for refund of rental fee and/or reservation-cleaning-repair deposit.
The
Abbey Ballroom will not be held liable for any injuries to renters
and their guests or loss or damage to their personal property.
Liquor
permit must be posted in the Ballroom.
Renter
shall reimburse the Abbey Ballroom for all damages, loss or destruction
of property, and equipment and shall make prompt and full payment
for repair and/or replacement of damaged, destroyed or missing
property.
Renter
is responsible for the setup and tear down of chairs, tables
etc...and will leave the Ballroom clean and in the same condition
as rented.
Caterer
will only use the 19th Street entrance. Renter and/or person
in charge will need to be present for any deliveries and/or pickups
made to The Abbey Ballroom for your event.
Rental
period for events held on SATURDAY is 12 hours and starts at
1:00 pm the day of your event until 1:00 am the following morning.
All alcohol services must end by 11:00pm, all music must end
by midnight, and all guests out by 1:00 am.
Rental
period for events held on SUNDAY is 10 hours and starts at 1:00
pm the day of your event until 11:00 pm that evening. All alcohol
services must end by 8:00pm, all music must end by 9:00 pm and
all guests out by 10:00 pm.
A
$100.00 per hour extended use charge will be assessed for additional
hours.
The
use of rice, bird seed, or confetti in the building, entryway,
or outside is not permitted.
The
use of Barbeques, Grills, or Fireworks of any kind is strictly
prohibited.
Any
animals, before being brought on the premises, must have prior
approval from the management.
Candles
other than floating candles must be approved by management.
Balcony
is strictly off limits to everyone.
